An orchard is being created on east 61st street. All kinds of fruit trees will provide the fruit needed to make jellies, jams, and fruit pies. The orchard will become a community gathering space where neighbors will be welcomed to sit down on benches surrounding a fire pit, to nosh on some fruit and share their dreams.
