Daryl Roger’s sister, brother, father, grandfather, two nephews and cousin, have all been incarcerated at one time or another. It is a legacy that has been lived out in far too many families. Daryl is determined to put an end to this generational cycle of incarceration by using theatrical performances as a way to educate the community.
He wrote a play called Un-tapped Potential. Then Daryl enlisted people who are currently incarcerated and others who have been previously incarcerate to be in his production. He wants to give them a voice. His play was performed within the correctional facility. Plans are in process to take the play to other venues like churches and college campuses. His mission is to enlighten audiences by having them experience the "untapped potential" of people who have had legal entanglements.
